Here are the top three stories today in Cleveland:
- An exciting weekend of NBA All-Star games came to an end in Cleveland on Sunday. This was the first time in 25 years that Cleveland has had the opportunity to host the games. There were many events featured throughout the city in celebration of the games including an NBA Crossover exhibit that showcased basketball culture's influence on art, fashion, and music. - The Cleveland Police Department is investigating a botched robbery of a local business' snowplow. The suspect arrived in a red Grand Jeep Cherokee with a red trailer attached and cut the business' chain link fence. The suspect fled and lost the snowplow when an employee opened a garage door after hearing the commotion. (Cleveland 19 News)
- The family of a hit and run accident from Jan. 20 is urging the community to help find justice in the case that resulted in a man in critical condition. Randi Schofield's vehicle was struck around 8:00 p.m. and flipped onto West 98th Street after hitting a snowbank. His family has not been satisfied with the investigation performed by the Cleveland Police Accident investigators that is largely relying on a tip from the public. (Cleveland 19 News)
