Browns Fans Get Free Beer When Team Wins First Game Of Season
The Cleveland Browns said they wanted to thank fans for sticking with them through two horrendous years. It's the least the team could do.

CLEVELAND, OH β When the Cleveland Browns finally β hopefully β win a game this season, a whole lot of fans are going to be very happy...and that's not just because of a rare notch in the W column. Bud Light is installing vending machines at various local bars that will open up and give free beer to fans when the team wins its first game.
The vending machines, called "Victory Fridges," will be distributed to several Cleveland-area bars. When the Browns win that first game, the fridges will all unlock simultaneously. Free beer for everyone.
Of course, the Browns have not won a football game since December 24, 2016. That's a long, long time for fans to go without tasting the sweet elixir of victory.

It's also the kind of drought that prompted one fan to ask when the Victory Fridges' beer will expire β just in case.
Browns fans have taken the losing in stride and the franchise knows it owes its Dawg Pound a little extra love.

"Youβve stood by us through it all. We love you for it, and so does @budlight. These special fridges will unlock celebratory beers when we get our first regular season βWβ," the Browns said on Twitter.

The Browns won their first preseason game 20 to 10, defeating the New York Giants. For the first time in...maybe ever...Cleveland had two competent and promising quarterback take the field, Tyrod Taylor and Baker Mayfield.
The hype around the team is palpable in the city. Of course, the expectations from the fanbase are incredibly low after the franchise managed to win only one game over the past two seasons, going 1-31 during that stretch.
Still, with one win, everything will be made right and fans will get a free beer...on the Browns. It's the least the team could do.
