Here are the top three stories in Cleveland today:
- The Browns are facing backlash as they announce they are raising ticket prices. The increased prices will go into effect for the next season. Fans are not thrilled that the prices are coming after a disappointing 2021 season. Some fans are pointing out that Browns tickets are still some of the lowest-priced tickets throughout the National Football League. (The Spun)
- The Cleveland Police Department found a body buried in the basement of a Cleveland residence on Tuesday. The department received a tip about the possible body at a home in the 4000 block of West 49th which lead to a search warrant being obtained. The Cleveland Fire Department helped remove the remains that were buried several feet below the flooring. (Cleveland Patch)
- According to officials with GasBuddy, the Cleveland area could see gas prices hit $5 a gallon. The increases would be due to the ongoing tensions with Russia that could see the European country withholding their oil from US markets. Russia is currently the second-largest producer of oil in the world according to GasBuddy. (Cleveland 19 News)
