Browns Running Back Traded To The Jaguars: Reports
Cleveland is reportedly getting a fifth round pick back.

CLEVELAND — Browns running back Carlos Hyde will be traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a fifth round pick, multiple outlets report. Cleveland appears poised to give more snaps to running back Nick Chubb, should this move go forward.
After Chubb showed flashes of promise during the first weeks of the season, head coach Hue Jackson continued to feed the veteran Hyde the ball. The decision on who should be the featured running back is no longer in Jackson's hands with Hyde moving on.
The Jaguars have been desperate for a running back since Leonard Fournette went down with an injury. Hyde has 382 yards and five touchdowns, on 114 rushing attempts, so far this season, ESPN noted. He's averaging 3.4 yards per carry.

Chubb meanwhile has 173 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 rushing attempts. That's an untenable average of 10.8 yards per carry.
Browns are getting back a mid-round draft from Jacksonville in exchange for RB Carlos Hyde, per source. Browns want to get more playing time for rookie RB Nick Chubb.

Inferences from the Jaguars-Browns trade: * Nick Chubb set to take on a central role in the Cleveland offense * Seems like we might not see Leonard Fournette for a while * Carlos Hyde has a chance to be an RB2 for JAX * Maybe, just maybe, Duke gets more involved in Cleveland too?

With Carlos Hyde gone, Hue Jackson is going to have to work even harder to avoid giving carries to Nick Chubb.
