Burntwood Tavern Group Gets New CEO

Known for award-winning Happy Hours, they pride themselves in every meal and cocktail and the direct engagement with the guest experiences.

From CAPRG: Chef Art Pour Restaurant Group (CAPRG) has announced Brian O’Malley as the new Chief Executive Officer and will join the CAPRG team August 27.

Under the leadership of Bret Adams, Founder, CAPRG employs more than 800 staff members, has operations in 12 locations, and is poised for further expansion. Adams remains active in every aspect of the business, ensuring a fully integrated chef driven and guest focused experience for every guest.

“Brian O’Malley is a proven performer when it comes to moving brands forward,” said Adams. “We have been preparing for growth and expansion of our company, and are excited to add his leadership as the company embarks on the opportunities before us.”

O’Malley comes to CAPRG from Bravo Brio Restaurant Group (BBRG), where he began his career early in the company’s growth as general manager of the 3rd location. In 2016, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer after 20 years working for the company. Prior to this appointment, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Operations. “I was raised in the restaurant industry and always knew that I wanted to be a part of the restaurant world,” said O’Malley, who began his career with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Speech Communication and Hospitality Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. “I’m excited to join and lead a company that shares in my core beliefs that our guests are the focal point for every decision and to partner with our team members to deliver on that experience.”

The restaurant concepts of CAPRG, Burntwood Tavern, M Italian and Rose Italian Kitchen, serve local communities, infuse their own vodka on-site, and offer a full food menu made from scratch daily.
