Powerhouse contemporary rock/fusion/prog band, Alan Hewitt & One Nation announced today they are hitting the road this summer. The tour kicks off June 11 in Cleveland, Ohio, jumps up to Northern Michigan and into central Michigan, before wrapping up in Chicago on June 20.
The tour might be short in comparison, but the rare chance these veteran session and touring musicians are on stage together is precisely the reason to catch them live. The Michigan tour stops also serve as a homecoming for the band – they are all from Michigan.
“We all have various commitments and busy touring gigs with other artists,” Hewitt, a Petoskey, Mich.-native, said. “The past few years have been hectic and we’re anxious to get back on stage and play some of our songs from ‘Evolution’, ‘2021’ and seamlessly slide in some new tracks we’re cooking up for our new album with our newest addition to the band, lead vocalist/guitarist Jake Allen. The studio is fun and amazing, but truly the live experience is where we feel most creative and alive.”
