AultCare completes agreement with University Hospitals
This gives AultCare members access to UH doctors and hospitals
CLEVELAND – University Hospitals and AultCare completed an agreement that will open the UH network to adult members utilizing their standard network products. AultCare is a Canton-based health plan insurer and TPA with over 110,000 members in commercial (individual, group, employer-sponsored) plans and 17,000 Medicare Advantage members. AultCare and PrimeTime Health Plans’ enrollment primarily reside in Stark County and the surrounding market area.
The agreement, which became effective Dec. 1, creates access for AultCare members to UH’s primary care providers, specialists, ambulatory centers and hospitals. UH previously provided only tertiary services to AultCare members by authorization on a case-by-case basis. UH will now be considered a full service network provider in AultCare’s commercial and Medicare Advantage plans.
“This culminates several years of work in building our relationship with AultCare and winning their trust to be the best care provider for their members in the markets we serve,” said Cliff Megerian, MD, President of UH. “We will extend convenient and timely access to care to AultCare members and deliver for them a patient experience that is welcoming, individualized and unrivaled in the quality of care, as we strive to do with every patient we serve.”
