Here are the top three stories today in Cleveland:
- Cleveland area churches have begun offering cash incentives for people to get vaccinated. The new program has been termed "Dollars for Doses" with money being provided through previous grants given to Greater Cleveland Congregations. The clinics are currently accepting walk-ins but they are encouraging people to register beforehand to ensure vaccines will be on hand. (News 5 Cleveland)
- The Cleveland Police Department is searching for a suspect connected to the stabbing on Wednesday night. The incident occurred in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood and resulted in the death of Brian Weems III. The suspect has not been identified to the public but an arrest warrant has been issued. (cleveland.com)
- The Cleveland Animal Protective League announced that they will be lowering the fees for adopting adult dogs starting on Feb. 25 and going through Feb. 28. An adult dog is defined as any dog that is over one year of age. The fees are being lowered from $125 to $50 during this time period to encourage more adoptions. (WKYC.com)
