Here are the top three stories in Cleveland today:

  1. The City of Cleveland has handed a Cleveland woman a $10,000 bill for a broken water main that is outside of her home. Lillian Dreamer has owned her home for 32 years before the water main broke and the city has reportedly not been responsive to her calls for help. Crews allegedly responded to the problem a month ago but did not fix the underlying issue, causing Dreamer's basement to flood ever since. (Cleveland 19 News)
  2. The Cleveland Fire Department battled a blaze in the Tremont Neighborhood that resulted in a 28-year-old man being sent to a local hospital for treatment. The housefire occurred in the 600 block of Jefferson Avenue which involved a two-and-a-half-story structure. The unidentified man is being treated for minor smoke inhalation. (Cleveland 19 News)
  3. The Cleveland Cavaliers are close to clinching their first postseason berth since 1998. The recent performance of the Cavaliers is being seen by many as the rebirth of the team after the departure of Lebron James. The recent success is being attributed to the talent of young players on the team such as Rookie of the Year frontrunner Evan Mobley. (cleveland.com)
