Cavs Hang On To Even Series With Pacers In Game 2 In Cleveland
It took a Herculean effort from LeBron James but the series is now tied at one game a piece.

CLEVELAND, OH — It took 46 points from LeBron James, including a blistering hot start, to put away the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of the first round of the NBA playoffs. Over the course of 48 minutes, James put together a masterpiece — a work of art that he was often forced to craft alone.
That's because, for the second straight game, James' supporting cast no-showed a playoff game. Only three Cleveland players managed to crack double digits for scoring.
The second highest scorer for the Cavaliers was Kevin Love who shot a dismal 5 of 16 en route to a 15 point performance. Kyle Korver had 12 points on 4 of 8 shooting. The next highest scorer was George Hill, with 6 points, and he fouled out after 20 minutes of action. Not a strong look for the 50-win Cavaliers.

Still, for all the warts, the Cavaliers managed to squeak by with a 100-97 win (with a last second three-pointer from Victor Oladipo making the game look tighter than it was at the end). Cleveland will now head to Indiana for Games 3 and 4. To regain home court advantage, the Cavs will need to win at least one of those games (and preferably will win both).
Game 3 will be played Friday night at 7 p.m. Game 4 will be played Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
