Cedar Point To Honor 2020 Season Passes Through 2021
With the park currently closed, Cedar Point officials said they will honor current season passes next year.
SANDUSKY, OH — Cedar Point will extend the use of 2020 season passes into 2021 due to the impact of the new coronavirus, park leaders said this week. Should the park reopen this year, the season pass will also be valid during this season.
In a letter to park guests, Jason McClure, the general manager of Cedar Point, said the park wants to ensure season passholders receive a "full season of fun." The park is currently closed because of COVID-19.
"Our season passholders represent some of our most loyal guests, and we want to ensure that you receive a full season of fun as promised when you purchased your 2020 Season Pass. Again, we thank you for your understanding and loyalty to Cedar Point," McClure said in a letter to guests.
