Charges Handed Down In Killing Of 12-Year-Old Cleveland Boy
A brother and sister are being charged with aggravated murder. They're also being charged for allegedly injuring five other people.

CLEVELAND, OH — Larissa Harris and her brother Marvin Harris are being charged for the murder of a 12-year-old Cleveland boy, and the injuring of five other people. The Harris' allegedly fired 20 shots at a group of juveniles in late November.
“These individuals took part in a ruthless ambush that left our community in shock,” said Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley said. “Our office intends to bindover the juveniles and fight for the maximum penalty for all involved.”
Larissa, 21, was allegedly driving her car on Buckeye Road, with her 18-year-old brother Marvin in the vehicle. There were other people in the car, but they are juveniles and their names were not immediately released.

The occupants of the car, including Marvin, reportedly jumped out of the vehicle and fired at least 20 rounds into another group of juveniles, the indictment says. Five people were seriously hurt in the incident. Abdel Bashiti, 12, was in his family's store. He heard the commotion, looked outside and was shot and killed.
The indictment against the Harris siblings carries 17 charges, including aggravated murder, attempted murder, felonious assault and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

The juveniles that were in the car driven by Larissa are also in custody. They also face charges of aggravated murder, felonious assault and murder in juvenile court.
