Chasing The Dragon Art Contest Deadline Approaches In Ohio
The poster designing contest is open to students in grades 7-12. The art should reflect on the consequences of prescription opioid abuse.

CLEVELAND, OH — The deadline for submissions in the second annual Chasing the Dragon poster contest is rapidly approaching. By March 9 at 5 p.m., students in grades 7 through 12 will need to have submitted all of their materials to FBI's Community Outreach team.
Students have been invited to create posters that reflect on the severe consequences of heroin use, or the abuse of prescription opioids. Last year, more than 160 posters were submitted to the FBI from 34 different school districts.
This year, posters can be mailed or dropped off to the FBI, attention: Community Outreach Specialist, 1501 Lakeside Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, 44114. Questions can be directed to the FBI's Community Outreach Specialist Tamara Larkin at tmlarkin@ic.fbi.gov.

The posters must be 18 by 24 inches. Each submission will be judged on its originality of presentation, its effectiveness, relevance and on its content. No obscene material or language should be used.
Prizes will be given out to four winners in each of the three grade categories: 7th-8th, 9th-10th, and 11th-12th. Prize money will be provided by the FBI Cleveland Citizens Academy Foundation. Winning posters will also likely be displayed at a public venue.
