Citizens Bank Robbed In Cleveland
Two unidentified suspects used a semiautomatic handgun to rob the bank on Puritas.
CLEVELAND, OH — The Citizens Bank on Puritas in Cleveland was robbed on Wednesday morning. Police are asking the public for help identifying the suspects.
The bank, located at 15042 Puritas, was robbed at about 11:15 a.m. by two unidentified men. The suspects were black men, both about 20 years old, standing about 5 foot 7 inches and weighing about 145 pounds. One suspect had a black, semiautomatic handgun. The armed suspected jumped the counter and ordered the three bank employees to lay on the ground. The suspect then took money from two of the teller drawers.
The suspects ran out of the building, possibly heading north and getting into a maroon or red Jeep parked behind a nearby shopping center. These men are considered armed and dangerous, Cleveland Police said.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of either of these two unknown suspects are encouraged to call the Cleveland Division of the FBI, the Cleveland Division of Police or Crime Stoppers. Tips can remain anonymous.
