Citizens Bank Robbed In Cleveland, FBI Search For Suspect

The FBI is asking the public for help in identifying a man who robbed a bank in Cleveland on Monday.

CLEVELAND — A Citizens Bank on Pearl Road was robbed Monday afternoon, the FBI announced.

At 12:10 p.m., a man walked into the bank, gave a note to the teller saying he was robbing the bank, received the cash and ran out of the building. No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was hurt.

The FBI said the suspect is a white man, possibly in his late 30s, of average height and weight. He was wearing a navy colored baseball hat, with a blue medical face mask and a long sleeve plaid button-up shirt.

An FBI spokesperson said it is possible this suspect is the same person who robbed a Dollar Bank in Cleveland on Friday.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the robbery should contact the Cleveland Police, the Cleveland FBI or Crime Stoppers. Tips can remain anonymous. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible.
