Clear Skies, Warm Temps After Storms: Northeast Ohio Forecast

After powerful storms dumped hail and some snow on Northeast Ohio, this week will be surprisingly warm.

CLEVELAND — After a weekend that ended with clumps of snow and hail, Northeast Ohioans can expect a surprisingly warm work week.

While Sunday saw powerful winds blow through Greater Cleveland, leaving thousands without power, the coming work week promises sunny skies and unseasonably warm temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will climb gradually throughout the week, starting with a high of 43 degrees on Monday and ending with a high of 66 degrees on Friday. Along the way, Northeast Ohioans can expect mostly clear, blue skies.

Powerful winds will continue to blow through the region early in the week. On Monday, winds could hit speeds of nearly 30 mph. The ferocity of the wind should taper by Wednesday, when breezes should blow by at a more comfortable 11 mph.
