Cleveland Bank Robbed On Friday Afternoon

CLEVELAND — An unidentified man robbed the Huntington Bank on Buckeye Road on Friday. The FBI are asking the public for help identifying the man.

At 2 p.m. on Friday, the man walked into the Huntington at 11623 Buckeye. He wore a black New York Yankees baseball cap, a long sleeved thermal burgundy shirt, grey cargo shorts and black shoes with white bottoms.

He handed a teller a note demanding money. The teller complied, handing over cash and the man left. No one was hurt during the robbery.

The FBI said no one saw which direction the man went after leaving the bank and it's not clear if he got into a car or ran off on foot.

The suspect is a black man, between the ages of 30 and 45, with facial hair. Photos of the suspect are above this article.

Anyone with information on the robbery can contact the FBI, Cleveland police or CrimeStoppers. Tips can be submitted anonymously and reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the bank robber.
