Cleveland Browns Uniforms Among Worst In NFL: Sporting News

CLEVELAND - Sporting News really doesn't like the look of the Cleveland Browns uniforms.

The publication recently ranked the aesthetic appeal of every NFL team's uniform. While Sporting News may have had kind words about the Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks (really?)and Pittsburgh Steelers...the ranking was not so kind to the Browns.

The Browns uniforms were rated as the 30th best in the league...out of 32 teams. Only the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars had worse uniforms, according to Sporting News.

"Change is coming, and it can't arrive soon enough. Credit the Browns for at least trying to establish a fresh look back in 2015, but they went over the top with "Cleveland" on the chest and "Browns" down the pant leg. The brown facemasks, as opposed to white or even gray, were a step in the wrong direction," Sporting News wrote.

In a blistering postscript, the publication added that Cleveland's "Color Rush" uniforms (all brown with orange highlights) looked like, "a turd from a dog that has recently consumed an orange crayon."

The five worst uniforms in the NFL, according to Sporting News, belong to (in order of terrible to slightly less terrible): the New England Patriots, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Cleveland Browns, the Carolina Panthers and the Arizona Cardinals.
