Here are the top three stories today in Cleveland:
- Len Komoroski, CEO of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has announced that he will be stepping down after this season. Komoroski has been in the Cavalier's front office since 2003 while being involved with Rock Entertainment Group. Despite stepping down from the basketball team, he will reportedly remain with the group. The team is currently the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference while working towards a spot in the NBA Play-In. (Cleveland 19 News)
- The Cleveland Guardians have officially extended the contract of Emmanuel Clase. The 24-year-old pitcher will remain with the ball club for at least the next five years with options for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. Official financial terms of the contract have not been disclosed by the club. (cleveland.com)
- The Cleveland Police Department is collecting new and lightly used shoes for the community. The Fill the Truck event will be at the Cleveland Patrolmen's Association location on 58th Street. The department is reportedly aiming to collect 3,000 shoes during the event. (Cleveland Patch)
