Cleveland Cop Accused Of Urinating On 12-Year-Old Girl
The officer is also accused of indecent exposure and child enticement, according to a Cleveland police spokesperson.
CLEVELAND — An off-duty Cleveland police officer exposed his genitals to a 12-year-old before urinating on her, according to Cuyahoga County prosecutors. The girl was waiting for a school bus.
Patrol Officer Solomon Nhiwatiwa, 34, was indicted by a grand jury on Wednesday. He will be arraigned on Monday. He faces charges for attempted kidnapping, pandering obscenity involving a minor, public indecency, assault, endangering children, criminal child enticement, and disseminating matter harmful to a juvenile.
“These actions are impossible to comprehend,” said Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley. “My office will hold him accountable and ensure that he never holds the position of police officer again.”

The prosecutor's office said the 12-year-old was waiting for a school bus on Euclid Avenue, in suburban Euclid on August 16. Nhiwatiwa drove past the girl in his car and then rolled down his windows and tried to talk to her, the indictment against Nhiwatiwa said.
The off-duty police officer asked the girl if she needed a ride to school, O'Malley's office said. The girl said no and Nhiwatiwa drove off.

Nhiwatiwa then returned, about a minute later, parked his car, walked towards the girl and pulled out his genitals, prosecutors said. He then urinated on the 12-year-old and appeared to be filming himself on his cellphone, according to prosecutors. Nhiwatiwa then walked back to his car and drove away.
Nhiwatiwa turned himself in to Euclid police on Tuesday. He is being held in Euclid City Jail. He scheduled to be arraigned on Monday morning at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center.
Nhiwatiwa has been relieved of all duties by Cleveland police and is suspended, without pay, until the criminal charges are decided.
The case is still under investigation and Cleveland police said they will monitor what happens. Cleveland's internal affairs department is looking into Nhiwatiwa's conduct.
Nhiwatiwa was hired as a Cleveland police officer in March 2014. He has been working in the city's Third District, doing patrol.
