Cleveland Cop Accused Of Theft, Suspended
A patrol officer has been suspended after she was accused of stealing merchandise from a North Olmsted Walmart.
CLEVELAND — A Cleveland Police officer has been suspended without pay after being accused of robbery and theft.
Patrol Officer Tashalee Norris, 34, was relieved from duty after North Olmsted Police charged her on Friday with stealing merchandise from a Walmart. Norris works in the Fourth District of Cleveland and was hired by the city in 2016.
Police officials said Norris will remain suspended until the charges against her are resolved. She will be tried in the Rocky River Municipal Court.

Norris was reportedly seen on surveillance footage stealing diapers, plates and groceries from the Walmart on Brookpark Road, Fox 8 reported. The merchandise was worth about $80, according to court records.
Norris is a Lakewood resident, according to Fox 8.
