Cleveland Cop Being Investigated For Soliciting Prostitution

Cleveland Police said they are currently investigating an officer for multiple counts of soliciting prostitution.

CLEVELAND — Cleveland Police are investigating one of their officers for reports that they solicited prostitution on multiple occasions, the department announced on Friday morning.

The Cleveland Division of Police Internal Affairs Unit is conducting the investigation, police announced. No charges have yet been filed.

The officer accused of soliciting prostitution has been placed on restricted duty, pending the outcome of the investigation. If charges are filed, additional information on the accusations will be released, police said.
