Cleveland Cop Hospitalized After Being Hit By Jeep
The public is being asked to help find the vehicle that collided with the officer on Saturday morning.
CLEVELAND — The public is being asked to help find a car that hit a Cleveland police officer on Saturday morning. The officer suffered multiple broken ribs and remains hospitalized after the crash.
The collision happened at about 4 a.m. at West 9th and West Superior Avenue, a Cleveland police spokesperson said in an emailed statement. After hitting the officer, the vehicle drove off, leaving the officer with his injuries.
The officer was rushed to the hospital after the crash and was still hospitalized as of Saturday night.

The vehicle is a 2019 white Jeep Compass. Police believe the vehicle likely has heavy damage to its front end.
