There are a total of 1,070 cases of the new coronavirus and 40 deaths in Cleveland as of Friday, according to the Department of Health.
CLEVELAND, OH – There are a total of 1,070 cases of the new coronavirus and 40 deaths in Cleveland as of Friday, according to data released by the Cleveland Department of Health.
To date, 437 patients have been released from isolation and 22 percent of cases are currently hospitalized. The average age of coronavirus cases is 46.

Statewide, there are nearly 27,000 cases of the new coronavirus and nearly 1,600 coronavirus-related deaths in Ohio as of Friday, according to the state health department.
Since the start of the outbreak, at least 1,581 Ohioans have died due to complications from COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, according to state health department data.

To date, there have been a total of 26,954 cases of COVID-19 in the state, and 4,791 hospitalizations. As of Friday, there were 1,277 patients in intensive care.
