The blaze swept through the home on the 1600 block of Hillview Road in Collinwood around 1 a.m. Tuesday.
CLEVELAND, OH — Two children and two adults are missing after flames swept through a home in Cleveland, and fire investigators say the heavily damaged home is simply too dangerous to search.
Firefighters were called to the 1600 block of Hillview Road around 1 a.m. Tuesday. A woman believed to be the children's mother jumped to safety from a second floor window, firefighters said. A 4-year-old boy, an 8-year-old girl, their father and a second man remain missing, investigators said.
Part of the roof on the two-story home collapsed.

A fire department spokesman says construction equipment will be used to take apart the home and make it safe for firefighters to search inside. Search crews try not to disturb any potential evidence that could help determine what caused the fire, he said.
The woman who survived said she tried to get to her children but was unable, the spokesman told Cleveland.com.
