Cleveland Indians Vs Astros: ALDS Game 1

HOUSTON, TX — The first game of the ALDS will be played Friday afternoon. The Cleveland Indians are in Houston to take on the defending champions, the Astros. The first pitch will be thrown at 2:05 p.m.

Fans could be in for a pitching duel on Friday afternoon. Tribe starter Corey Kluber will take the mound for Cleveland, while Houston's Justin Verlander, a perennial Cy Young candidate, will get the ball for the Astros. Runs may be scarce in this opening salvo of the American League playoffs.

Houston is favored to win Game 1, with betting odds making them -1.5 favorites. That just means Cleveland fans can make a little extra cash this October, right?

TBS will broadcast all of the American League Division Series playoff games. That means fans will tune in to the super station for both Indians-Astros games and Red Sox-New York Yankee series. If you're listening to the game at your desk, you'll want to stream the game through WTAMor WMMS.

Cleveland will be in Houston to open the playoffs. Game 2 of the series will be played October 6 at 4:37 p.m. The series will shift to Cleveland for Game 3, which will be played October 8 at 1:30 p.m.
