The ban went into effect at 9 a.m. and will remain in place until further notice.

CLEVELAND, OH - The City of Cleveland has issued a snow parking ban. The ban went into effect at 9 a.m. this morning.

Director of Public Safety Michael McGrath issued the ban this morning. In a statement he said that, "As a result, stopping, standing, and parking of vehicles will be restricted and prohibited on City streets with posted red and white signs until further notice."

That also means that parking will be banned on designated Snow Emergency streets. Those streets will have signs identifying them as Snow Emergency streets.
