Cleveland Man Chased Down, Shot To Death

Police said a gunman chased a man down and shot him to death in Cleveland.

CLEVELAND — A 31-year-old man was shot to death in Cleveland on Friday afternoon, police announced.

At 1:20 p.m., a 31-year-old man was shot while standing at the corner of E. 125th and Superior Avenue. The gunman chased the man down and shot him. It's unclear what prompted the shooting.

After being shot, the 31-year-old ran to a nearby gas station. Employees called for help and the the man was rushed to University Hospitals. He was later declared dead at the hospital.

Cleveland police said no arrests have yet been made in this case.
