Cleveland Man Killed During Argument, Police Say

CLEVELAND, OH — A 41-year-old man was killed after a fight on Cleveland's west side. Police said the man suffered fatal head trauma. His body was found just inside an apartment building on Detroit Road.

Cleveland Police said they were called to a fight in progress at about 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning. When they arrived at the apartment building, they found the man's body. He was taken to MetroHealth, where he later died from his injuries, police said.

After an investigation, police learned that an argument had escalated between the man and a woman and a fight had broken out. During the fight, the man was hit in the head, police believe.

Cleveland Police identified a suspect, a 38-year-old woman. She was treated for injuries at Lakewood Hospital and then arrested.

Cleveland Police's homicide unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office were notified, police said.
