Cleveland Man Shot While Smoking Weed in Driveway
He was smoking with two other men when an argument broke out. The man tried to wrestle the gun away and got shot in the process.
CLEVELAND, OH - A Cleveland man was shot in the wrist when an argument escalated out of control. The man told police he was trying to stop the argument and got shot in the wrist for his troubles.
The man told police he was standing in the driveway of a residence at 3778 E. 55. He said he was smoking marijuana with two other men, then an argument started. As the argument escalated, one of the men pulled out a handgun. The man tried to wrestle the gun away and the gun went off, hitting him in the wrist.
The man was taken to Metrohealth for treatment. Police found a gun at the scene and the shooting victim relayed his account of events to police.

An investigation into the incident also revealed that the shooting may have been connected to a fight that occurred at 4372 E. 146.
Detectives are continuing to investigate.
