CLEVELAND — Cleveland is America's most stressful city to call home, according to a new study by WalletHub.

The study looked at 180 cities using 42 key metrics. The data included how vulnerable each state is to COVID-19, average weekly work hours, divorce rates, suicide rates and more. After weighing the data, WalletHub ranked the most stressful cities in America.

Cleveland residents were the most stressed out in America. Neighboring Detroit was the second most stressed out city in the nation. Cleveland had the second highest poverty rate of any city studied and the highest divorce rate.

  • 23rd – Traffic Congestion
  • 2nd – Poverty Rate
  • 1st – Divorce Rate
  • 49th – % of Adults in Fair/Poor Health
  • 26th – Job Security
  • 12th – % of Adults with Inadequate Sleep
  • 84th – WalletHub “States with the Most Vulnerable Populations to Coronavirus” Score
  • 35th – WalletHub “States with the Biggest Health Improvements During COVID-19” Score
