Cleveland Transformation Alliance Appoints New Executive Director
Transformational Alliance appoints Piet van Lier as new executive director.

The Board of Directors of the Transformational Alliance appointed Piet van Lier as its new executive director at its March 7 meeting.
Van Lier had been serving the Transformational Alliance, a public-private partnership dedicated to reinventing public education in Cleveland, as acting executive director since Feb. 1.
The Alliance reports on school quality using both state and local measures, and publishes an annual School Quality Guide to help families make informed decisions. The entity also communicates to families about quality school options in Cleveland and publishes an annual “report card” on all public schools in Cleveland.
