Cleveland Zoo Closes To Public Due To Coronavirus

The Cleveland Metroparks are closing all of their indoor facilities and the zoo to help halt the spread of COVID-19.

CLEVELAND — Starting Monday, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo will be closed to the public. The closure will last until at least March 31.

In addition to the zoo, the Cleveland Metroparks have also closed all of their indoor public facilities and canceled all events and programs scheduled between now and March 31. Guests who registered for programs will be refunded.

"The precautionary action follows directives from Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, the Ohio Department of Public Health, Cuyahoga Board of Health and the CDC to limit public gatherings," the park system said in a statement.
