Clevelander Shot To Death On Sidewalk On Wednesday Afternoon

Police said the man was found bleeding on E. 55th Street and Quimby Avenue at 3:20 p.m.

CLEVELAND — A 38-year-old man was shot to death on a sidewalk on Wednesday afternoon. Police found him bleeding out and gave him first aid, but the man died from his wounds.

The man was found on E. 55th Street and Quimby Avenue at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday. He had been shot several times, police said.

Officers gave the man first aid and EMS rushed him to MetroHealth Medical Center. He died from his injuries while at the hospital.

Both the Cleveland Homicide Unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office investigated the crime scene. Police said no arrests have been made and there are no descriptions of possible suspects.
