Coronavirus In Ohio: 490 New Cases, 40 Deaths

Ohio continues to see steady spread of the new coronavirus, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

COLUMBUS, OH — Ohio confirmed 490 cases of the new coronavirus on Thursday. In the past 24 hours, at least 40 Ohioans died due to complications caused by the virus.

The Ohio Department of Health released its latest COVID-19 data on Thursday afternoon, confirmed 490 new cases of the virus and 40 new deaths caused by the virus. At least 61 Ohioans were hospitalized on Thursday because of COVID-19.

In the past 24 hours, 19 people were admitted to intensive care units at hospitals due to COVID-19 symptoms, the state health department confirmed.
