Coronavirus In Ohio: New Cases, Hospitalizations Down
Ohio saw a dip in new coronavirus cases, hospitalizations and intensive care admissions on Saturday.
COLUMBUS, OH — Ohio saw a decrease in new coronavirus cases, hospitalizations and intensive care admissions on Saturday, the Ohio Department of Health announced.
There were 468 new COVID-19 cases confirmed on Saturday, down versus the state's three-week average of 540 new cases per day. At least 35,034 Ohioans have contracted COVID-19 since the outbreak began.
At least 64 Ohioans were hospitalized with COVID-19 on Saturday and 15 were admitted to intensive care. Over the past three weeks, Ohio has averaged 81 new hospitalizations per day and 17 intensive care admissions due to COVID-19.

Over the past 24 hours, 18 people died due to COVID-19 complications. At least 2,149 Ohioans have died due to complications from the virus since the start of the outbreak.
