Cross-Dressing Bank Robber Hits Huntington Bank in Cleveland

The man, dressed as a woman, was carrying a concealed object in the waistband of his skirt.

CLEVELAND, OH - A cross-dressing man robbed the Huntington Bank, 11457 Mayfield Road, in Cleveland Nov. 15. The man was dressed as a woman, complete with wig and skirt.

The suspected entered the bank and stood in line in his costume. When a teller opened up, the man approached and handed over a threatening note. The man then lifted his blouse/shirt and pointed toward a concealed object in the waistband of his skirt. The teller handed over the money and the suspect fled on foot.

The man was observed entering an older model white sedan bearing an Ohio license tag.

The suspect is described as a black male (dressed as a female), 5’02-5’03” tall, slender build, 130 lbs, wearing a blue short sleeved blouse, dark sunglasses, black wig, black skirt and tennis shoes.

Tips can be provided to the Cleveland Division of Police or the Cleveland Division of the FBI. Tips can remain anonymous. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible.
