Customer Bites Police Officer At Cleveland Airport, Police Say
Cleveland police said an officer was bitten while helping TSA with an unruly customer on Saturday.

CLEVELAND — An unruly man bit a police officer at Cleveland Hopkins International on Saturday afternoon, police announced.
At about 2 p.m., Cleveland police working at the airport were asked to help TSA with a customer that was disturbing the flow of passengers. The disturbance took place in the north checkpoint lane, police said.
When officers arrived, police said, the customer became combative. In the struggle, the man bit one of the responding officers, police said. The officer was not seriously injured, Cleveland police said.

The customer was taken into custody, police said, and then transported to St. Vincent Charity Hospital. Police said the man was given a psychiatric evaluation.
The customer had a service dog with him. The dog was taken to the Cleveland kennel without incident.
