Dead Body Found In Backyard Of Cleveland Home

CLEVELAND — A 31-year-old man was found dead at a house in Cleveland on early Thursday. Police said the man was killed by blunt force trauma to the head.

Officers were called to a home on Morgan Avenue just after midnight on Thursday. Family of the 31-year-old said they had not heard from the man since May 2 and asked police to do a welfare check.

When police arrived, they found the man in the backyard of his home. The cause of the man's death is unknown, but there was trauma on the man's head.

Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office were called to the scene. The 31-year-old's body was taken by the medical examiners for further investigation.
