Dead Body Found At Vacant House In Cleveland

Police said they have not yet identified the body or how the person died.

CLEVELAND — A dead body was found at a vacant house on Monday afternoon, Cleveland police announced. The body has not yet been identified.

Construction workers doing renovations on a vacant house on E. 89th Street found the body, a police spokesperson said. The workers peeled back a tarp in the backyard and discovered the body of the man.

Police said they have not yet identified the man or how he died. Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office were asked to participate in the investigation.
