Dead Body Washes Ashore in Edgewater Park

The body was spotted in the water by a couple at around 8:50 Thursday morning.

CLEVELAND, OH — Police are investigating a dead body that washed ashore in Edgewater Park Thursday morning, reported Cleveland.com.

The body was spotted in the water by a couple in the park and washed ashore around 9:00 a.m., Dan Veloski, chief ranger of the Cleveland MetroParks rangers told Cleveland.com.

Fire and Police officials remain on the scene at Edgewater Park and are continuing to investigate. The body has not yet been identified, but is believed to be male, reported Cleveland.com.
