Deadly Shooting Brings Investigators To Mayor Jackson's Home
A shooting on W. 51st street led investigators to Mayor Frank Jackson's east side home on Wednesday night.

CLEVELAND — A 30-year-old man was shot to death on Cleveland's west side on Wednesday afternoon. Police took one man into custody and interviewed a juvenile who was located at Mayor Frank Jackson's home.
Officers were flagged down by witnesses on W. 51 Street at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Police discovered a man had been shot in the street. The man was given first aid until EMS arrived and pronounced the man dead.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office later identified the man as Antonio Parra. The Cleveland police homicide unit is investigating his death.

Police learned that Parra was standing outside First Class Barber Shop when two men in black hoodies approached him. The men shot him several times and then ran to a blue vehicle.
Detectives identified one of the shooters and took him into custody, police said. He has been booked at Cuyahoga County jail.

According to police, the investigation revealed the owner of the blue vehicle went to E. 38th Street. However, detectives could not locate the vehicle.
One juvenile was taken from Mayor Jackson's home for questioning and was then released to a parent, police said. It is not clear who was questioned from the house.
One vehicle was towed from the scene of the shooting and a second vehicle was towed from E. 38th Street.
The shooting is still under investigation, police said, and interviews are ongoing. Police said they would not release additional information on the incident at this time.
