Here are the top stories today in Cleveland:
- Many Cleveland Water customers experienced discolored water Monday as a result of a new pump station on Aurora Road in Bedford Heights that is being put into service. Cleveland Water officials said as of Tuesday, the bulk of discolored water has been flushed out; however, there are a few residual pockets that crews continue to flush. Officials said the water is safe to drink; the discoloration is caused by iron sediment being stirred up from a change in the flow of water. (Cleveland 19 News)
- A recent cybersecurity incident at the Cleveland mayor's office may have included city workers' personal information. The city of Cleveland said in a statement that Ultimate Kronos Group, which supports the timekeeping systems used by the mayor's administration, reported a cybersecurity incident. Data that may have been accessed includes some employees' names, addresses, last four digits of social security numbers, and ID information. (Cleveland 19 News)
- Amid an urgent need for blood donations, the American Red Cross and the Cleveland Clinic partnered together for a special blood drive on Tuesday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
