Donald Trump Holding Campaign Rally In Ohio

The president will hold a campaign rally in Toledo at 7 p.m.

TOLEDO, OH — President Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Toledo on Thursday. The event will mark the president's first visit to Ohio, a key battleground state, in 2020.

Trump's campaign team shared video of a handful of supporters camped outside the Huntington Center on Wednesday, waiting to get tickets to the event. The rally will start at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Vice President Mike Pence will also attend the rally.

The president's visit to Toledo comes a day after Trump announced U.S. forces are "prepared for anything," but "Iran appears to be standing down" following the killing of Iran's Revolutionary Guard commander Qassem Soleimani last week near the Baghdad airport.

Trump added that the U.S. is ready to "embrace peace."

With the Democratic primary hitting Ohio ballots in March, Buckeye State residents can expect a parade of presidential hopefuls to begin visiting the state. Trump and members of his family and administration will also be holding regular rallies and stump speeches throughout Ohio.
