Driver Crashes Into Ohio Cemetery At 90 MPH
Up to 10 headstones were damaged by the man's SUV.

AKRON, OH — Ten headstones were damaged when an SUV crashed into Holy Cross Cemetery this week. Video from the scene shows the vehicle sitting on its side, near toppled grave markers and headstones.
Police said the Ford Explorer was going 90 mph when it plowed into the Akron cemetery. The posted speed limit in the area is 35 mph, the Akron Beacon Journal reported.
The driver, a 20-year-old from Akron, reportedly lost control of his SUV, hit a curb and went through a fence on the cemetery's property. The Explorer hit 10 different headstones before flipping over. The driver was taken to a local hospital for a head injury. His condition is unknown.

Reports say the driver hit his head and could not recall details of the incident. He is being charged with reckless operation of a vehicle and failure to control.
Holy Cross Cemetery is an 82-acre cemetery that has been used by the area's Catholic population since 1912. The area where the SUV crashed into has gravestones from the 1940s and 1950s, News 5 reported.
