Driver Killed When Car Flies Off Road In Cleveland
Late on Monday night, a 41-year-old man was killed when he hit a curb and sent his car into the air and off the road.

CLEVELAND, OH — A 41-year-old man was killed Monday night when he hit a curb and sent his car into the air and over the parapet along a bridge. The car fell approximately 30 feet, landing on its roof and killing the driver.
Cleveland Police say the accident happened at about 11:50 p.m. The 41-year-old was driving south on Broadway Avenue in a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. He passed Rockefeller Avenue and then failed to handle the curve int he road, hitting the west curb.
The Cruze went airborne, going over the parapet along the bridge, through the chain link fence on the parapet, flipped and landed 30 feet below on its roof. The car landed on the grass median that separates I-490 West from the I-77 south and north ramps.

The Cruze then rolled a little before finally coming to a rest on the right shoulder and right lane of I-490 west. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
