Driver Killed When Pickup Truck Flips After Driving Off I-90 West
The 47-year-old driver was killed by the crash, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
BRATENAHL, OH — A 47-year-old was killed when his pickup truck went off the highway, rolling over and hitting a tree. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said on Wednesday morning.
Darrin Murphy, 47, from Cleveland, was killed in the accident. He was driving a 2002 Chevrolet S-10 pickup, the Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday night. The pickup truck was on I-90 west, near milepost 178 in Cuyahoga County when it went off the road, hit a tree, rolled over, hit another tree and then came to a stop, the Highway Patrol said.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is leading the investigation but has received assistance from Bratenhal police, Cleveland police and fire, the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
