- Drugged drivers are on the rise in Cleveland and Ohio, according to state troopers. In a report issued by OSHP statistics, Ohio State Highway Patrol made approximately 111,633 drug-related driving arrests from 2017 to 2021. The drugs involved in the cases could include marijuana, narcotics, or various prescription drugs in addition to alcohol. (Cleveland 19 News)
- City officials are emphasizing the importance of the NBA All-Star Weekend games taking place across Cleveland. The games bring in roughly $100 million in outside spending to the city through tourism expenses. The games will also be aired in over two hundred countries and Cleveland will be on full display. - The Cleveland Police Department is investigating an accident that resulted in three individuals being transported to local hospitals. The incident occurred at the 4100 block of Rocky River Driver. A 54-year-old, a 58-year-old, and a 25-year-old were sent to MetroHealth Cleveland with various conditions. (WKYC.com)
