WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH. October 9, 2017.— Effective Leadership Academy (ELA) will be hosting its 3rd Annual Alley Rally at the Corner Alley-Uptown on University Circle on Saturday, November 4. All ticket and sponsorship proceeds will all go towards the ELA Scholarship Fund. We will also be honoring Mr. George Golden, Director of Closing the Achievement Gap (CTAG) for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, as our 2017 Education Partner of the Year.

Last year we were able to raise over $20,000, which allowed us to provide financial assistance to all underserved students interested in participating in ELA programs.

At Alley Rally this year, we offer a new ticket option: Scholarship Supporter. If you are unable to attend the event, become a Scholarship Supporter and help fund one ELA student. There are other sponsorship opportunities for purchase as well: Gold Sponsor ($5,000), Silver Sponsor ($2,500), Bronze Sponsor ($1,500), and Lane Sponsor ($500). All of which will get your logo placed on our website. The deadline to purchase sponsorship opportunities is October 13.

Programs that will benefit from your donations would be programs such as Club LEAD, which is an award-winning program for students in 5th-12th grade. It is delivered once a week for eight weeks with each session running 60 minutes. Donations will also benefit Camp LEAD, which is held in the summer over one intensive week of helping students in 5th-8th grade develop their communication, team-building, self-leadership, and creative thinking skills. Another program that will stand to benefit is our Transitions program, which is designed to bridge the social, emotional, and academic challenges students face during the important passage from middle school to high school. We teach them how to handle new school expectations and establish their own identities.
