1. The Cleveland Police Department asks the community for help in identifying the man who was found dead in a Cleveland sewer on Feb. 2, 2022. The body was found by Northwest Ohio Regional Sewer District employees while working on a sewer in the 16400 block of Euclid Avenue. The body has a series of distinct tattoos on his arms, neck, and chest. Pictures have been posted by the police in an attempt to identify the body. (Cleveland 19 News)
2. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio have raised concerns about a new prison that is being planned for the Slavic Village neighborhood in Cleveland. The prison is being proposed by Cuyahoga County and will cover approximately 40 acres of land near I-77. Officials with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio argue that the prison would be a "slap in the face" to a community that is still reeling from the 2008 foreclosure crisis. (Cleveland Patch)
3. The Cleveland Police Department presents a new program meant to change the culture of policing. The new program is gaining national attention for its focus on police becoming "guardians, not warriors" of the communities they serve.
